Morgan Smith has been named a finalist for San Diego Business Journal’s Military & Entrepreneur Awards. This new awards program and educational conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine, 3777 La Jolla Village Drive, on Wednesday, October 25, 2017.
He has taught engineering, leadership and management as an Assistant Professor of Naval Science at the University of San Diego. He is President of the Mahabodhi Buddhist Charitable Organization and a founding member of Strategic Trusted Advisors Roundtable, a San Diego networking group. Morgan also participates in the Windansea Surf Club’s Annual Day at the Beach benefiting children of homeless families residing at Father Joe’s St. Vincent De Paul Shelter.
Morgan is known for his unique approach to financial planning which is informed by his mindfulness practice and his experience in the military.
