Every year, the Austin Business Journal publishes its annual Book of Lists. This downloadable document or print book — both available for purchase — lists the “hottest area companies in their field” based on ranking criteria specified by field. In addition to listing by rank, each entry also includes key contact information for decision-makers and leaders within each company.
We are pleased to announce that WorthPointe has been selected for the 2019 Book of Lists, List of Financial Planning Firms with offices in the Austin area. Ranked by the number of CFPs in the Austin office, the 2019 List ranks us at #11 among our colleagues.

The Austin Business Journal 2019 Book of Lists, List of Financial Planning Firms with Austin-area offices is produced by the Austin Business Journal from responses received to surveys provided to representatives of financial planning firms by the Austin Business Journal, and researched by the Austin Business Journal. The List is ranked by the number of certified financial planners (CFP) in the Austin area office, including Travis, Williamson, Hays, Basrop, and Caldwell counties. Ties were broken by the total number of certified professionals handling financial planning. Professionals include Certified Financial Planners (CFP), Certified Financial Analysts (CFA), Investment Advisor Representatives (IAR), Chartered Financial Counselors (ChFC), Chartered Life Underwriters (CLU), and other Series 65 and 66 registrants.
Selection for the 2019 Book of Lists, List of Financial Planning Firms with Austin-area offices was drawn from a total of 28 firms. WorthPointe’s ranking is not indicative of its future performance. Neither WorthPointe nor its employees paid a fee to the Austin Business Journal to be included in the Book of Lists, List of Financial Planning Firms, or to improve its ranking. WorthPointe and certain employees will elect, in their discretion, to purchase results of the Books of List for marketing and promotional purposes.
