We are pleased to announce that Brooks Morgan was recently made a partner at WorthPointe.
Brooks began his WorthPointe journey in 2011, while still a student at the University of Texas, studying finance and business administration at the Red McComb School of Business. As an intern with us, he served as a wealth management associate, getting acquainted with the industry outside the classroom.
Taking full advantage of every opportunity that came his way, Brooks gained the notice of the management team, who was impressed by his tenacity, creativity and drive. He also studied for and passed his CFP® exams. His responsibilities increased and he stepped to the plate each time, hitting proverbial home runs. His commitment to the work we do for our clients was clear.
Growing with WorthPointe
Eventually, Brooks gained the roles of Compliance Officer and Director of Advisor Support, often acting as a liaison among clients, advisors, custodians, and more. He learned not only the industry language, but also effective communication informed by the goals of everyone involved. He also built expertise in documentation and compliance issues.
Over time, Brooks earned the titles of Portfolio Manager and Lead Advisor, overseeing the firm’s CRM and building his own client base. In fact, he has maintained one of the fastest growing books of business in the company.
In 2019, he was made partner at WorthPointe, a milestone moment recognizing his contributions to the growth of the firm.
On the Green
Much of Brooks’ success in building a solid client base, and growing the firm, has developed from his love for golf. Out on the green, he has been able to create and nurture relationships with individuals who share his passion for the game and his vision for their financial future.
A Balanced Life
Brooks’ true passion for sports extends beyond the opportunity to build business. Leveraging WorthPointe’s flexible and balanced work-life approach, he has been able to travel, soaking up tee times around the world and visiting ballparks across the country. Capitalizing on the chance to recharge, he’s been able to work harder and smarter when he’s back in the office. He is also able to better identify with clients who share the desire to pursue their passions.
From his first day as an intern until now, Brooks has stood out. He is enthusiastic about the services we provide and has always been dedicated to growing along with us. We are excited to welcome him as a partner and look forward to years of continued growth.
