Joelle Jackson, AFIM®

Embracing challenges and using critical thinking skills are two of the qualities Joelle possesses that make her a natural to serve as a financial services professional. She enjoys the process of getting to know clients and helping them plan their financial futures—regardless of what hurdles must be overcome. She also revels in being that person to call when they don’t know how to navigate a particular situation within her sphere of expertise and having the opportunity to provide a high level of customer service.

Joelle’s desire for a career in finance began with experience in branch banking in her hometown of Tyler, Texas. It really blossomed when she became a Wealth Management and Trust Officer at Southside Bank Wealth Management and Trust. She is now certified as an Accredited Fiduciary Investment Manager® (AFIM®) and is currently pursuing her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Tyler, with a bachelor of business administration in marketing.

Outside of work, Joelle enjoys spending time with her parents, sisters, nephews, and niece, who all live in Tyler, and being a mom to her cats, Oxford and Oliver. She also likes to cook and discover new wine pairings, try new restaurants, and get friends together by hosting events like themed brunches.
